Nothing is better than waking up on a Sunday morning and heading to a sunny and cheery farmers market with your loved ones. Instead of going into a chain grocery store or getting fast food every single day, picking fresh fruit, vegetables, and tasty drinks is the best way to stay healthy while on vacation. Check out this list of the best farmer’s markets in Bend Oregon. These markets offer yummy berries, great prices, friendly people, and cool atmospheres.

Bend Farmer’s Market

The aptly named Bend Farmer’s Market is one of the best in the entire state, not just Central OR. We love Bend Farmer’s Market due to its downtown location, which makes it easy to walk or cycle from anywhere in the area. Plus, you can find local vendors, tons of souvenir shops, local owners, fresh food, and tasty treats unique to this market.

Head to Marquam Hill Berries for some of the best blueberries and strawberries in the state. Then, check out DD Ranch for meat to bring back home to barbecue on the grill. We also love fresh vegetables from Rainshadow Organics to make a healthy dinner later in the day. If you want specialty produce, like flowers or mushrooms, Deschutes Gourmet Mushrooms and Tumalo Lavender are must-visits.

Head here any time between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., rain or shine – and it rains a lot here! – to pick up gluten-free cookies, vegan treats, bourbon, locally picked vegetables, and more.

Northwest Crossing Farmers Market

Northwest Crossing is THE place to go on a sunny Saturday morning! Walk to Northwest Crossing Drive, and you’ll hear the sound of local musicians singing live music, dozens of local vendors going down the block, crunchy bagels to eat with creamy butter, and cottage bakers churning out sweet treats for you to have as midday pick-me-up sweet treat with coffee.

Sisters Farmer’s Market

Last but not least, we can’t get enough of the small and cute Sister’s Farmer’s Market. As if Sisters wasn’t already an adorable place to head to on a short road trip from Bend, this gives us even more reason to make the quick drive here. We recommend stopping at Cascade Mountain Pastures and The Barn to pick up a sandwich or breakfast plate to start the day, all while listening to live music or sipping beer from local breweries.
