You can participate in the Memorial Day ceremony held each year at Pilot Butte Cemetery in the neighboring city of Bend. This historic ceremony features testimonials from veterans and ends the event with a 21-gun salute. Dog Day in May

Start the day off with a rewarding exercise at the 5K Poker Dog Walk/Run starting at 10:00am. Immediately afterwards starting at 11:00am the canine festivities will commence at the Village in the center of town. These joyous activities include a dog talent contest, local vendors with unique dog products and services, and an adoption event. The festivities will continue until 3:00pm for a relaxing afternoon around Sunriver’s favorite canine companions.
