Bend is home to Oregon’s most highly rated ski resort: Mount Bachelor. It has more than 4,000 skiable acres, 3,365 feet of vertical drop, and 101 runs to explore in a 360 degrees snow sport experience. Bend Oregon snowboarding and skiing doesn’t stop at the mountain. There’s also Hoodoo Ski Resort, which has more than 800 skiable acres, 34 runs, five lifts, and one of the largest tubing parks in the Northwest. For those who want to hit the less groomed slopes, there are backcountry skiing opportunities throughout Central Oregon, including on Tumalo Mountain, in the Three Sisters Wilderness, and on Broken Top, to name a few.
