The winery is family owned. They find the best of grapes from all around Oregon and Washington. They grow grapes in their own vineyards as well and make over twenty-seven different kinds of wine.

Wine Tasting Hood River

Cathedral Ridge offers two different kinds of tastings. Standard tastings offer a chance to try six wines of your choice for $15.00. You six selections may include two reserve wines. If you only want to try the very best, you can select a Reserve Tasting for $20 which includes a selection of the best wines served in the Wine Club Bar.

Tours

There are three different ways to take a tour of the Cathedral Ridge Winery itself. A regular tour and tasting costs $25 and gives you a look at the innerworkings of a winery. You will get a look at the vineyards, wine making facilities and barrels. At the end of the tour you will enjoy a flight of wine selected by the staff. The Barrel Tour gives you a more in-depth look at the winery. It will also let you taste three upcoming wines from the barrel. This tour costs $40 and includes a charcuterie platter and three current wines.
A private tour includes a tour of the barrel barn, which is rarely open to the public, and a tasting of wine from the winery’s most recent harvest. You will get to see their exclusive library cellar and learn about vintages. You will also get a tasting of current wines. The price of a private tour is $75.
Located at 4200 Post Canyon Dr, Cathedral Ridge is open on Saturday and Sunday only from 11:00 am to 6:00 PM. You can also buy a bottle of wine in their shop.
