Providing family-friendly fun after dark (as well as during the day with solar viewing), the Sunriver Observatory is a one of a kind destination for those interested in astronomy, science, the wonders of the universe, or even just looking at a beautiful night sky.

Solar viewing programs are conducted in a safe manner daily during the summer season and on Saturdays during the spring and fall seasons. Sun filtering telescopes allow you and your guests to see the sun and its dynamic swirling hot gases and sunspots safely through special equipment, under the guidance of facility staff.
