Make a reservation at Sunriver Marina, and rent a kayak, canoe, raft, or paddleboard for a fun and easy three-mile float downstream. Don’t worry, they’ll give you a ride back! This is an enjoyable trip for all ages, and you can expect some great scenery.
If you prefer more excitement with your river fun, you can always make the 20-minute scenic drive up to Bend, where the Bend Whitewater Park offers consistent rapids and wave features every day. Paddleboarders, kayakers, and river surfers can try their hand over and over at these exciting challenges, in two different lanes of the river. And of course, if you’re new to water sports, both Sunriver and Bend have tons of rental shops and classes you can take to learn!

If you prefer to keep it gentle, Sunriver boasts 34 miles of family-friendly dedicated bike paths and paved trails, which wind around golf courses, through pine forests, and past Sunriver’s Great Meadow. You can easily rent all sorts of bicycles from the many shops near Sunriver, even if you have special requests, like bike trailers, or tandem, electric, or recumbent bikes.
