Pedal to the Meadow

An Uphill Competition with a View

The Pedal to the Meadow hill race, one of the top Kauai points of interests, celebrates its 10th year in 2019 and the competition begins at 8:00 am Saturday, May 25th in Kekaha, Kauai. The race is organized by Bicycle Racing Kauai but holds the honorable title as a USA Cycling sanctioned race that is highly popular with cyclists of all skill and abilities. The race begins at the intersection of Haul Cane Road and Kokee Road and finishes up at Kokee State Park. Racers will enjoy stunning views of the Waimea Canyon Rim and Kanaloahuluhulu Meadow as they travel 15.75- miles and conquer elevation changes of 3,835-feet.  

 

Pedal to the Meadow Registration Details

Competitors who register for the Pedal to the Meadow race online before April 1, 2019 will be able to enter the race for a fee of $40. Registration before May 18th is $50 and late entry participants will be charged $60. All riders are required to have a USA Cycling license prior to race day. Packet pick-up will be held May 18th and May 24th. Competitors can register into various men or women’s category and cyclists ages 10 to 19 are eligible to race in the Juniors division. A post-race picnic and awards ceremony will be held at Kokee State Park following the race, giving participants a chance to indulge in a delicious meal and enjoying the company of their competitors after a challenging uphill experience!
