Manawaiopuna Falls

Located on private land, Manawaiopuna, known as Jurassic Falls, can only be seen from above, unless you choose a helicopter tour with Island Helicopters, the only company allowed to land at the cascade’s base. With a limited number people aboard each tour and restrictions on how often they’re able to land, seeing this waterfall within the lush Hanapepe Valley up close and personal is a surreal, secluded experience.

Due to its ownership by the Robinson family (also owners of nearby private island Ni’ihau) and its location in a remote, undeveloped area, relatively few people have admired this falls at a close vantage point.
