Bend Brewing Co. is the second oldest brewery in Bend, brewing beer along the Deschutes River. The brewery has been located in the heart of downtown next to Drake Park since 1995. It is a great spot for large groups and kids, as there is plenty of seating indoors as well as a large outdoor patio with a grassy area overlooking the Deschutes River and Mirror Pond.
About the Bend Brewing Company
The brewery is on the second floor of the building, and brewmaster Ian Larkin and his assistant Josh Harned are hard at work brewing nearly 1,000 barrels each year. Larkin and Harned have managed to win quite a few awards from this small amount of beer, including a gold medal at the 2016 World Cup for their Volkssekt Berliner Weisse, a bronze medal for their Black Diamond Dark Lager at the 2015 Great American Beer Awards, and many more.
The brewpub has a laid-back vibe, friendly service, and is a great place to grab a beer, some food, and watch sports, as they have several large screen TVs inside the brewery. Bend is a city known for its craft beer, and Bend Brewing Co. has been a favorite among locals for more than two decades.

Bend Brewing Company is open every day of the week from 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. Their tap list changes out to showcase seasonal and special brews but usually includes some of their staples such as their Elk Lake IPA, Outback Amber Ale, and Exploregon ale. They also have a food menu that includes salads, sandwiches, and brewery fare. They use seasonal and local ingredients for their food as well as spent grains from the brewing process to make pretzels. The menu includes a selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Bend Brewing Co. is known for having some of the best fish and chips in town and their sriracha cauliflower bites are a fan favorite.
