Backporch Coffee Roasters has origins in the tropical rainforests of Brazil and the coffee-loving confines of Bend, OR; and that’s just the husband and wife team that founded one of the best coffee shops in Bend, Oregon in 2006. Drawing their inspiration from the farmers who grow the beans, the Beach’s believe in sourcing micro-lots of estate quality coffee in direct trade relationships so that their final product – a delicious lineup of fresh brews, pour overs, and iced coffees – honors the farmers who grew it.

Backporch’s line of carefully sourced beans are available at local stores, grocers, cafes, and specialty shops, and their two cafes in Bend are open seven days a week. Three or four of those days they can be found diligently sorting and hand roasting their ceaseless supply of beans from across the globe, churning out delicious roasts from across the coffee spectrum just for your pleasure. Stock up on single-origin beans by the pound, or indulge with a freshly brewed drip coffee from the day’s spotlight region or coffee estate. Folks come from miles around to refresh themselves with Backporch’s legendary iced coffees and cold brews, and we can’t blame them. Steeped in cold water overnight, they are packed with smooth, rich flavor and a little extra shot of get-up-and-go.
