Bend Ale Trail

Bend, Oregon has long been a destination for outdoor enthusiasts on the hunt for the next great adventure. Those who love to hike, bike, run and swim their way through amazing destinations often look to Bend as a place to make the most of all of these opportunities. However, recent years have seen a beer boom in Bend that is undeniably flavorful and fantastic for those with a heart for a delicious brew. In honor of the explosion of breweries that have popped up in eastern Oregon, the Bend Ale Trail was established to give visitors a chance to explore the beer scene in detail, with a lot of fun on the side!

Recognized for Excellence

Nicknamed Beer Town USA, Bend is proudly recognized as a brewery-dense city that promotes its many establishments in style. So as not to miss out on any of them, guests who decide to trek the Bend Ale Trail should pick up a passport book at the Bend Visitor Center, Old Mill District ticket mill or kiosks at any of the participating breweries. Once you have a passport in hand, begin your travels through 18 separate breweries around the city. At each stop, you’ll ask the staff to put a stamp in your passport, letting everyone know you’re well on your way to completing this fun and savory trip. While ordering a beverage isn’t necessary to receive a stamp, it’s definitely a part of the adventure and gives guests a chance to taste test the dynamically different brews that come from each of these locations.

Redeeming Your Rewards

While the Bend Ale Trail is fun on its own terms, participants are also motivated by the potential for a prize at the end of the journey. Those who have received 10 stamps in their passport are eligible to receive a Bend Silipint when the passport is shown to staff at the Bend Visitor Center. Those who have made their way through all 18 breweries will receive the Silipint and a customized bottle opener to remember your journey by. While moderation is key, it’s good to note that the Bend Ale Trail doesn’t have to be completed in a single day in order to be an amazing experience for all. A designated driver is always essential, and those looking for more beer things in Bend Oregon to do can extend their journey through Bend’s many breweries across the duration of their stay!
