A Behind the Scenes Brew Experience
Zwikelmania was founded on a collective excitement and passion for the art of brewing incredible beverages. This event is held in Portland on President’s Day weekend and extends out to nearby cities including Hood River and the surrounding Columbia River Gorge the following weekend to make the most of the holiday weekend and beyond. Zwikelmania is often referred to as the official backstage pass to Oregon’s most well-loved breweries.
The excitement begins at 11:00 am both weekends and the fun continues on until 4:00 pm. There’s no need to worry about cost as everything that’s included in this event is free of charge! The idea behind Zwikelmania is to provide a designated time for beer lovers to get a closer look at what it truly takes to make the beverage they crave. During Zwikelmania, breweries across Central Oregon open their doors and production facilities so that guests can come in for an intimate experience with the process from start to finish.
Participating breweries are happy to host facility tours for interested participants during Zwikelmania as well as beer tastings and of course, meet and greets with the brewers who work hard to serve up incredible beverages. Those interested in learning some tricks of the trade will want to make time for the many food and beer pairing events that keep guests coming back for more.
