Entry ways open into expansive living rooms complete with high, vaulted ceilings, warm wood accents, dual staircases to upstairs bedrooms and a second living room, and towering panoramic windows that let in plenty of natural light and affording incredible views of the surrounding tropical gardens. These incredible houses boast not one but two master suites, perfect for group vacations. Each suite features a deluxe California King bed, private lanai, and a large en suite bathroom decorated in contemporary style with tile floors, marble vanities, and brand new fixtures (one even has a Jacuzzi tub). The third bedroom has twin beds while the fourth features a full-size bed with an additional twin trundle bed. A small office provides privacy for those who can’t escape reality completely, and a small day bed means it can be converted to a fifth bedroom if needed.

Speaking of snorkeling, some of our favorite places to explore beneath the waves are Lawai Beach, the always popular Poipu Beach and Tunnels (also known as Makua Beach).
We love Lawai Beach on the south shore because it’s right next to the Beach House Restaurant, a favorite in Kaua’i for a sunset meal. Poipu Beach, also on the south shore, is one of the most famous beaches in Kaua’i, and because of that it gets very busy. We love the beach because you can do so many activities there, especially as a beginner. A shallow sandbar helps break big wave, making it a great place for kids, beginner body boarders and snorkelers. The Tunnels on the west shore are a fascinating place to explore big coral reef structures. Beginners should stay closer to shore.
For shopping, we recommend the Coconut Marketplace on the east shore. Located in Kapaa, this shopping center is great if you’re looking for artisan goods like jewelry and artwork. The historic city of Hanapepe is also great for artisan goods. Kapaa Town and Kinipopo Shopping Village are great if you’re looking for souvenirs and surf shops.
