A trip to Kauai promises to deliver big on sunshine, tropical rainforests, breathtaking views and of course, opportunities to soak up the sun on white-sand beaches. Fondly referred to as The Garden Isle, those seeking a lush getaway that indulges the senses in floral beauty, thick forests and inspiring vantage points will not be disappointed when they book a ticket to Kauai. The added benefit of this soil-rich island is the amazing produce that the land offers up. Farmers thrive on Kauai with a tropical climate on their side as well as rainforest-rich nutrients that provide some of the most ideal growing conditions around. Visitors to Kauai who are interested in an opportunity to taste their way across the island will want to make their way towards the Kekaha Sunshine Market, one of the top Kauai things to do, for a chance to please the palate and satisfy the senses.
A Savory Saturday
The Kekaha Sunshine Market is hosted every Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 am and running until 2:00 pm. The market is located at 8130 Elepaio, Kekaha, Kauai and there is no cost for locals and visitors to come and browse the many goods available. Local vendors and farmers make Saturday morning a celebration of all the land willingly offers up by setting up a multitude of stands, booths and even tables simple standing behind open trucks spilling over with produce! This is a casual, yet a very lively event that brings in many guests every week.
