Kauai Beachfront Rentals: Princeville and Hanalei
On the rugged North Shore, you won’t want to miss the famed winter waves and the secluded beaches nestled amongst the towering sea cliffs. These resorts are popular with repeat visitors thanks to tropical townhouses with incredible locations atop the bluffs of northern Princeville. Overlooking the ocean with incredible views of the pounding surf and Bali Hai sunsets, from your oceanside getaway it is just a short walk to attractions like the Queen’s Bath, Hideaway’s Beach, and Turtle Reef. Even with a beachfront location, you can still relax on 22 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds and gardens, and then enjoy panoramic views while playing tennis, shuffleboard, or even while taking a yoga class on a bluff overlooking the sea.
Known as the Coconut Coast, these 8+ miles of scenic beaches on Kaua‘i’s eastern shore from Līhu‘e to Kapaa have some incredible beachside vacation rentals. From air conditioned townhouses on Kalapaki Beach to incredible studio hotel suites in a tropical plantation setting, you’ll find the perfect accommodations for a romantic getaway or a family gathering. Choose from a variety of Kauai beachfront condos and resort properties with world-class amenities like tropical swimming pools and lush acreage on some of the island’s longest beaches.
Blessed with the island’s sunniest weather and some of its best beaches as a result, beachfront accommodations have a whole new meaning on Kaua‘i’s Leeward Coast. All of our South Shore properties are either on the beach, directly above it, or a short walk from America’s Best Beach, Poipu Beach State Park. Choose from a variety of Kauai beachfront condos and townhomes on Kaua‘i’s southern side, conveniently located near Waimea canyon, world-class restaurants, and the sweeping expanses of pristine sand on Kaua‘i’s western shore.
Fun in the Sun
During your stay in one of our Kauai beachfront condos, you have to take advantage of the plethora of activities you can do just outside your door. There’s snorkeling, surfing, body boarding, stand-up paddleboarding and good ole sunbathing.
We have a few favorite shops for renting or buying everything you might need to have a great time at the beach. We love Poipu Surf, Nukumoi Surf Shop in Koloa and Tamba Surf Company.
If you’re a GoPro user – Hawaii is a great place to have a GoPro – we recommend Poipu Surf. In addition to equipment rentals and clothing, they have a great selection of GoPro accessories. Tamba Surf Company was named “Best Surf Shop in Kaua’i” by Hawaii Magazine in 2018. They also make custom surfboards and rent surfboard, SUPboard, bodyboard and snorkel accessories, and offer surfing lessons, and they’re open seven days a week in Kapa’a. If you’re looking for some serious surf lessons, try a seven-day clinic at Nukumoi Surf Shop. They also rent any equipment you might need for your beach day.
