HomeEagle Crest ActivitiesWhere to Golf in Eagle Crest

Oregon is one of the most beautiful areas in the country, making the residents and tourists who flock to the town of Eagle Crest want to spend as much time outside as they can. And who can blame them? The air up here is fresh, clean, and crisp, the green of the trees contrasts nicely with the majestic darkness of the mountains surrounding us, and when you step outside the door of your Arrived Now cozy cabin, you’ll know you have arrived in heaven. And because perfect can be boring, spending a day on lush and manicured greens fighting the frustrations of sand traps, water hazards, and that hook you can’t cure yourself of, you know you’ll want to check out the Eagle Crest golf scene during your visit to that paradise we call Oregon.

Eagle Crest Golf Resort, 1590 Mountain Quail Drive, Redmond

Challenging and heartbreakingly beautiful, Eagle Crest Golf course will have you playing better than you ever have before—if you can stop yourself from being distracted by the beauty that surrounds you. Three different courses and four sets of tees allow you to play at the level you are comfortable with, and a putting green helps you practice, improving that all-important short game. The Ridge Course, built in the midst of an ancient juniper forest, is known as the Driver’s Dream. The Resort Course is known for its canyon views. The Challenge Course is, well, as you may have guessed from its name, challenging!

Juniper Golf Course, 1938 SW Elkhorn Avenue

Designed by famed golf course architect John Harbottle, Juniper Golf Course garners accolades from all over the world. Coming from humble beginnings and originally built as a 9-hole course back in 1952, the early days were difficult as they fought fire and a new freeway, forcing it to be moved to its current location. Today, Juniper offers a variety of games designed to accommodate all skill levels and is challenging without being intimidating. A favorite of ours, the beauty of this public course makes it easy to forget those bad hits and horrible games. How can you feel angry when you’re surrounded by stunning scenery?
