It is especially important to document your trip during the holiday season to cherish your time with family. This is a beautiful destination during the winter and offers many incredible Palm Springs photos spots. Below, we’ve listed the top spots for a family holiday photo in Palm Springs.

The Living Desert WildLights

Palm Springs is home to many incredible attractions in the area that are each a joy to see in person. This includes The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. You will find sprawling exhibits with exotic animals and beautifully maintained gardens to explore. The Living Desert WildLights focuses on natural conservation to help the area flourish. Part of that is by sponsoring events throughout the year, including WildLights. This holiday event turns the zoo into a sprawling holiday light show that features over three million holiday lights. Each of the zoo’s exhibits will be decorated in delightful holiday lights and displays, giving you a whole new perspective of the zoo at night. Don’t forget to see the many exotic animals during your visit, including the rhino, giraffe, and more.

A favorite display returning once again for the 2024 season is the Tunnel of Lights, where you will find is a perfect backdrop for your family photo. Picture a tunnel of countless holiday lights that surround you and your family. This will make for the perfect Christmas card or a photo to simply cherish any memories you have of the trip. Don’t forget to also check out the Dazzling Gift or the holiday themed G-Scale train. You can stay warm during your visit with hot cocoa or visit the s’mores station. A full bar is available for adults aged 21 years or older too.

WildLights will be open on select nights from November 26th through December 30th. The zoo will be closed on Christmas Day and December 19th will be an adults-only night. Tickets for WildLife start at $15.95 per person and are separate from day passes for The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. Come take some pictures of this local favorite event!
